López de Aragón - Arte Antiguo

The Gallery

The gallery’s origin dates back to 1930 as a result of Felix Lopez de Aragon the Elder’s profound interest in the arts and his large collection of paintings, antiques, and works of art. In 1967 a commercial gallery was opened by his son, Felix Lopez de Aragon the Younger, in Vizcaya, Bilbao. Later in the 70’s the Lopez de Aragon family moved to Madrid, opening a large gallery in the so called Golden Mile area of Serrano. From there on Lopez de Aragon began dealing in the international art-market exhibiting in Frankfurt, Florence, Paris, Basel, Palm Beach, and Maastricht together with his son Diego Lopez de Aragon, current director of the new gallery in calle Velazquez.

Lopez de Aragon has the privilege to contribute to the increase the art-collections of National and International Museums as well as private collectors worldwide.
